Hi everyone! My name is Diego Guerrero. I’m a Venezuelan go player currently living in Chicago, USA. I’ve been playing since 2007 and have taken part in several international tournaments in Latin America, including the Iberoamerican Go Tournament (2007, 2008, and 2016) and six seasons of the Pandanet Go Latin American Team Championship. In Venezuela, besides the main national championship, I competed twice in the Venezuelan Pair Go Tournament, which was a lot of fun.
After a long break from competitive play to pursue a PhD, I’m excited to be getting back into the game and play weekly in one of my city's club. I’m currently around 1 kyu, with an aggressive style and a preference for games involving large-scale attacks.
Outside the board, I am dedicated reader, enjoy dancing, and a huge foodie. I also play chess in the local club. Looking forward to meeting and playing with you all!
